BIOGRAPHY.

1970: born in Galati

Childhood was played between Holda/Brosteni and Galati.

Moved to Targoviste, in 1979.

Early youth years were educated by the art community of Târgovişte, having a painter for a mother.

Student Years start in 1988 as a continuous search in the Bucharest Universities, Geology, Architecture, Languages, and Arts.


STUDIES.

High School studies occurred in Targoviste, in a general REAL Profile (Math-Physics).

University studies started with Geology in Bucharest, with a 5 year engineering degree, in 1988-1989.

Studies continued with 3 years of Sculpture, at the Bucharest city Art school with Ceramist Simona Tănăsescu.

Starting in 1995 Ceramic Arts 5 years at UNARTE, Bucharest University of Arts, finalized with an academic degree.

Self educated in, digital arts, film, photography.


ACTION.

In the early 2000’s, right after the the end of art academy studies, I went to Germany to work/study computer arts, for about two years.

Returned to Romania soon after the 9/11 events.

In the 2003-2007 timespan I was active in various projects for film effects and advertising doing computer graphics.

In 2007 I started a project of ceramic arts and film interactions with first grade students of three special schools of Bucharest, and in 2009 founded an NGO to support the project, Eyes on Fingers non-profit association.

2009-2013 brought four exhibitions displaying ceramic and painting works produced with the children during the Eyes on Fingers projects.

In 2012 I started projecting and organizing independent art events.

2014, August – “The Forest” – Visual effects for a feature sized Romanian-Serbian Documentary, directed and written by Sinisa Dragin
